Entry 3: my top tips for staying motivated
Hey guys, Happy New Years Eve! I hope that you've all managed to have a lovely, relaxing holiday period and enjoyed whatever you got up to. And with the start of the new year comes a renewed sense of motivation and drive, which is exactly what I want to touch on today. Staying motivated is a very commonly asked question in the fitness industry and one that I have personally been asked countless times by a wide range of people Now, off the bat, I feel unsure about the word motivation... Motivation means "reasons for acting or behaving in a certain way" so in that sense, it's pretty fitting. For a lot of people, looking after their health and fitness is the reason why they go to the gym - so that is their motivation right? But I think that it can hold people to unrealistic standards or give off negative ideas.
